Germans say it's us BRITS who steal all the sun loungers - what's the truth?

The battle over the holiday sun loungers is hotting up.
It's long been a British belief that German holidaymakers get up at the crack of dawn and take all the best spots by the pool.
But now a German newspaper claims the stereotype is a myth - and in fact, it's us BRITS who are the worst offenders.
National daily Bild set up an investigation at a hotel in Lauret de Mar on Spain'S Costa Brava and took two photos throughout the morning. One at 7:36am and then at 9:21am.
Naturally, at 7:36 the entire poolside area was empty, but by 9:21 all the sun loungers were decorated in brightly coloured towels including a Union Jack and St George cross , yet no person was still in sight.
Later on Bild went and interviewed some of the sun worshippers and revealed the revelation that it was the British who have been sneaking down early in the morning to reserve their area.
One Brit family staying at the hotel said, "Everybody does it!"
While another claimed, "If we all want to sit together it's just what you have to do."
It's hardly a surprise that Bild has shifted the blame however.
Recently, the paper has been fairly critical of British jet setters, branding them drunken, stupid, overweight, lecherous, tattooed and sunburnt.
