Women 'kicked Muslim off London bus and shouted this isn't bloody Africa' in racist attack

Two women launched a violent Islamophobic attack against a woman in a hijab before throwing her off a London bus, police said.
The victim, in her 40s, was subjected to a racist and anti-Muslim tirade by two women on a number 63 bus, who then punched her in the head and kicked her into the street.
The attackers, thought to be in their 20s, allegedly filmed themselves on their mobile phones while abusing the woman on the double-decker in London Road, Elephant and Castle.
Witnesses said the distressed victim tried to get off the bus but was followed to the doors by one of the attackers who then “violently kicked her on to the curb [sic]”.

Several eye-witnesses took to social media to express their shock at the time.
Antonia Bance, head of campaigns at the Trades Union Congress, said: “Just witnessed a hate crime at the Elephant [and Castle].

“Others heard anti-Muslim abuse. Some tried to hold them but they ran.”
Another passenger said: “The girl and her friend recorded video of themselves shouting Islamophobic hate speech at the woman and physically intimidating her.
“After bringing the lady to tears, I heard them screaming at her ‘stop crying and shut the f*** up’.
“As she tried to get off the bus, they followed her to the doors where the girl violently kicked the woman on to the curb [sic].”
The victim was left badly shaken and had to be taken to hospital for treatment to injuries, police said.
Officers are appealing for anyone who recognises the women pictured to get in touch.
They are also asking any passengers who filmed the attack or took photographs to contact them.
It happened at about 8.10pm on October 28, on a 63 bus travelling in the direction of Peckham.
